【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,dimensions,workmanship,markingsforfactorymanufacturedmultilayerflexiblesteelpipewiththermoplasticinnerandouterlayersandendconnections(Fig.1).Itcoversnominalsizes2in.through8in.(50mmthrough200mm).Flexiblesteelpipesaremultilayeredpipeproductsmanufacturedinlongcontinuouslengthsandreeledforstorage,transportandinstallation.Themultilayerthermoplasticandflexiblesteelpipegovernedbythisstandardareintendedforuseforthetransportofcrudeoil,naturalgas,hazardouschemicals,industrialchemicalsandwater.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
